About This Recipe:
This basic recipe is prefect for soapmakers just getting started. The recipe makes four bars of soap allowing you to practice before making a large batch of soap. We use Crafter's Choice™ Premium Honey MP Soap Base as well as Crafter's Choice™ Honey Almond EO & FO blend. (1) 2 lb Premium Honey MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
(1) 2 fl. oz Honey Almond - EO & FO Blend 741
(1) 1 Mold Square Basic Silicone Mold 1605
(1) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic
(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 26 oz. Premium Honey MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 0.50 oz. Honey Almond - EO & FO Blend 741


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Soap Cutter & Cutting Mat
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Rubbing Alcohol - 99%
• (1) Plastic Wrap
• (1) Cookie Sheet

Directions:
NOTE:  If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Cut 26 oz. Premium Honey MP Soap Base into small chunks. Place chunks into microwave-safe measuring cup and heat in microwave in thirty-second intervals until melted.  
  2. Add 0.50 oz. of Honey Almond EO & FO Blend to the melted soap. Mix well.
  3. Place silicone mold on cookie sheet. Pour the soap into four of the soap mold cavities.
  4. Spritz the top of the soap with rubbing alcohol to pop any bubbles that may have formed. Let harden.
  5. Unmold and wrap the soap in plastic wrap to prevent glycerin dew. You can also use shrink-wrap if you prefer.
  6. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse with warm water.
