(1) 2 oz Emulsifying Wax - Traditional
(1) 2 oz Stearic Acid
(1) 2 oz Glycerin - Natural

(1) 2 oz Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF (Compare to Optiphen Plus)
(1) 2 fl. oz Azurite Sky Fragrance Oil (Special Order)

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 11.20 oz. Distilled Water (not included in kit)
• 2.40 oz. Argan Oil
• 1.45 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Traditional
• 0.35 oz. Stearic Acid
• 0.35 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 0.15 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 0.15 oz. Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF (Compare to Optiphen Plus)
• 0.30 oz. Azurite Sky Fragrance Oil (Special Order)


Equipment From Home:
• (2) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Stick Blender or Hand Mixer
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Thermometer

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.
  1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add Argan Oil, Emulsifying Wax and Stearic Acid.  Heat in microwave until waxes have completely melted.
  2. Heat water in microwave for two minutes. Add to melted oil/wax and begin to blend. We prefer using a stick blender but a hand mixer will also work. 
  3. Blend until product starts to thicken.
  4. Add Glycerin, Vitamin E, fragrance oil and preservative and stir in by hand, then stick blend to fully incorporate. 
  5. Fill each bottle to 3.75 oz. by weight. If lotion is too thick to pour, use a piping bag to fill bottles.
  6. Let lotion cool completely before applying caps. Lotion will continue to thicken as it cools. 
  7. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to skin as often as desired.
