About This Recipe:
The poppy seeds act as a gentle scrubbing agent while the lemon essential will help remove odors from the skin.

(1) 2 lb Premium Aloe & Olive MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
(1) 2 fl. oz Lemon EO - Certified 100% Pure 140
(1) 2 oz Poppy Seeds
(1) 1 Mold Rectangle Basic Silicone Mold 1601
(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 32 oz. Premium Aloe & Olive MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 1 oz. Lemon EO - Certified 100% Pure 140
• 0.70 oz. Poppy Seeds


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Freezer
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Mixing Spoon
• (1) Soap Cutter
• (1) Cutting Board
• (1) Scale - Digital Display

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 16 oz. of cut up clear soap.
  2. Place in microwave and heat soap until completely melted. DO NOT BOIL. Remove and stir.
  3. Add 0.35 oz. of poppy seeds. Gently stir. Seeds are very light and should suspend well in soap.
  4. Add 0.5 oz. of Lemon Essential Oil. Gently mix into soap.
  5. Let soap set for about 5 minutes. As the soap cools, it will thicken and better suspend the seeds.
  6. Stir soap gently, then pour evenly into 3 of the cavities in the soap mold.
  7. Let soap set for about 10 minutes, then place in freezer for 20 minutes or until soap has completely hardened. 
  8. Once removed from freezer, turn mold over and carefully remove soaps. Set aside.  
  9. Repeat directions to make remaining 3 soap bars. 
  10. Package in airtight packaging such as plastic wrap.
  11. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin, scrubbing to remove odors. Rinse with warm water.
