About This Recipe:
This made from scratch recipe uses high-end oils such as Jojoba Oil and Hemp Seed Oil to create a fast absorbing and moisturizing luxurious body lotion.

(1) 2 oz Emulsifying Wax - Soft & Silky
(1) 2 oz Stearic Acid
(1) 2 oz Glycerin - Natural
(1) 2 fl. oz Chardonnay Wine Fragrance Oil 482
(1) 1/2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50
(1) 2 oz Preservative - Water Soluble (Compare to Germaben II)

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 34.25 oz. Distilled Water (not included in kit)
• 5.55 oz. Hemp Seed Oil - Virgin (Dark Green)
• 1.40 oz. Jojoba Oil - Clear
• 1.85 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Soft & Silky
• 0.85 oz. Stearic Acid
• 0.95 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 0.45 oz. Chardonnay Wine Fragrance Oil 482
• 0.45 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 0.45 oz. Preservative - Water Soluble (Compare to Germaben II)


Equipment From Home:
• (2) Metal Pots
• (1) Stove Top or Hot Plate
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Large Measuring Cup
• (1) Scissors
• (1) Scale
• (1) Stick Blender
• (1) Thermometer - Digital
• (1) Distilled Water

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Add Hemp Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Emulsifying Wax and Stearic Acid to metal pot and heat until liquid. Remove from heat.
  2. Add water to other metal pot and heat.
  3. When oil mixture and water are both around 125ºF, pour both into large measuring cup.
  4. Stick blend in small bursts until mixture is 120ºF.
  5. Add Glycerin, Preservative, Fragrance and Vitamin E to mixture. Stick blend again.
  6. When mixture thickens slightly, pour 7.50 oz. by weight into each bottle.
  7. Allow to cool.
  8. Trim dip tubes and twist tops onto bottles.
  9. Label accordingly.
To Use: Massage onto dry skin as needed.
