About This Recipe:
This gentle face wash can be used daily. The orange powder creates a very gentle exfoliant while the shea butter and honeyquat leave the skin feeling soft and smooth.

(1) 2 oz Orange Powder

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 16 oz. Liquid Suspension Soap Base
• 2 oz. Shea 50
• 0.50 oz. Honeyquat
• 0.50 oz. Apricot Seed Powder
• 0.15 oz. Xanthan Gum
• 0.10 oz. Orange Powder
• 0.10 oz. Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)
• 3 ml(s) Valencia* - EO & FO Blend 593

• (1) Zip Close Bag
• (1) Scissors

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Add Suspension Soap Base to funnel pitcher. Heat in microwave for one minute.
  2. Add Xanthan Gum and mix well with wire whisk. If clumping occurs, you can use a spatula or spoon to break these up.
  3. Add Shea 50, Honeyquat, fragrance oil and preservative. Gently stir with wire whisk.
  4. Mix in the orange powder and apricot seed powder, blending well to incorporate all ingredients.  
  5. Carefully pour into tottle bottles, placing in a large cup to stand upright until capped. If product seems too thick to pour into bottles, pour mixture into a zip close bag, cut off one end and pipe into the bottles. 
  6. Place caps on bottles once product has completely cooled.
  7. Label accordingly.  
To Use: Massage onto wet skin. Rinse with warm water.
