About This Recipe:
This recipe creates a beautifully emulsified sugar scrub. The peach color complements the passionfruit nectarine  scent. Rub the scrub onto wet skin and rinse off for gently exfoliated moisturized skin. Your body will love it!

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 31.65 oz. Sugar - White Granulated Sugar
• 8.65 oz. Apricot Kernel Oil
• 3.35 oz. Mango Butter - Refined
• 1.45 oz. Stearic Acid
• 1.45 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Soft & Silky
• 0.95 oz. Passionfruit Nectarine Fragrance Oil 438
• 0.25 oz. Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)
• 0.25 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 1/8 Teaspoon(s) Coral Orange Reef Mica Powder

• (1) Sifter
• (1) Refrigerator

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To metal pot, add apricot kernel oil, mango butter, stearic acid, and emulsifying wax and heat on stove top until the butter begins to melt.
  2. Remove from heat and stir until all ingredients are liquid.
  3. Mix with hand mixer for five minutes. Allow liquids to cool to 122ºF. (Place in refrigerator for faster cooling.)
  4. Add fragrance, preservative, Vitamin E and coral mica to liquids. Whip with hand mixer and allow product to cool to 80ºF.
  5. Pour into large bowl and slowly add sifted sugar. Mix with hand mixer.
  6. Fill jars each with 7.60 oz. by weight. Twist on tops.
  7. Label accordingly.
To Use: Gently scrub on wet skin and rinse.

Note: Original fragrance, Nectarine & Wild Berries, was discontinued.  Changed to Passionfruit Nectarine FO, 8/2019.
