Whipped Coffee Lip Butter Recipe

You will love the creamy feel this butter will leave on your lips.  The three butters plus avocado oil will leave them moisturized and soft anytime of the year.

Shopping List:

(1) 2 oz Coffee Butter Blend

(1) 2 oz Coconut Butter Blend

(1) 2 oz Avocado Oil

(1) 2 oz Shea Butter - Ultra Refined

(1) 2 fl. oz Coconut Cream - Sweetened Flavor Oil 820

(1) 1/2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50

(1) 2 oz Cocoa Powder

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(1) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(1) 12 Set 1/4 oz Clear Pot & Clear Screw Top

Recipe Ingredients:

• 2 oz. Coffee Butter Blend
• 0.50 oz. Coconut Butter Blend
• 0.50 oz. Avocado Oil
• 0.50 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
• 4 ml(s) Coconut Cream - Sweetened Flavor Oil 820
• 0.5 ml(s) Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 1/4 Teaspoon(s) Cocoa Powder

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Large Mixing Bowl (32 oz.)
• (1) Hand Mixer
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Mixing Spoon
• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Piping Bag (optional)
• (1) Small Microwave-Safe Bowl
• (1) Microwave

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. To mixing bowl, add Coffee Butter and Coconut Butter.
2. To a small bowl, add shea butter and heat in microwave just until softened. Add shea butter to larger mixing bowl. 
3. Using a hand mixer on low, start to whip the butters until they start to thicken. Be sure to scrape bowl often while mixing.
4. Add Avocado Oil, Flavor Oil and Vitamin E. Whip until all ingredients are well incorporated.
5. Add 1/4 tsp. Cocoa Powder for light color, or add until desired color is reached.
6. Continue whipping until all ingredients are incorporated.  
7. Fill jars to approximately 0.25 oz. using either a narrow spoon or a piping bag. Place lids on jars.
8. Label product accordingly.

To Use:  Apply to dry lips as needed.
