Detangling Conditioner Spray

About This Recipe:

Your child will not mind having their hair combed after using this "no more tears" detangling spray. Honeyquat is a water soluble conditioner that doesn't weigh down fine hair. Bamboo Extract contains silica, which helps strengthen hair and leaves a silky feel while the Silk Amino Acids hydrate to keep hair manageable and soft.

(1) Distilled Water

(1) 2 oz Bamboo Extract - Water Soluble

(1) 2 oz Honeyquat

(2) 1/2 oz Silk Amino Acids Liquid

(1) 2 oz Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF (Compare to Optiphen Plus)

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(4) 1 Bottle 08 oz Clear Cylinder Round Plastic Bottle 24/410

(4) 1 Piece 24/410 Natural Ribbed Sprayer Top - Clear Cap

Recipe Ingredients:

• 28 oz. Distilled Water
• 1.60 oz. Bamboo Extract - Water Soluble
• 1.60 oz. Honeyquat
• 0.65 oz. Silk Amino Acids Liquid
• 0.15 oz. Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF (Compare to Optiphen Plus)

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Large Mixing Bowl
• (1) Mixing Spoon or Spatula
• (1) Scissors
• (1) Funnel

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. Into large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients.
2. Mix well with a spoon or spatula.
3. Using a funnel, fill each bottle to 8 oz. by weight.
4. Trim dip tubes slightly and place on bottle.
5. Label product accordingly.

NOTE: We do not recommend adding a fragrance or essential oil to this product as it is water based and there is no solubilizer in the recipe.

To Use: Spray on wet or dry hair, then comb through to reduce tangles.
