About This Recipe:
This baking soda-free deodorant contains magnesium stearate which is a naturally occurring fatty acid originating from stearic acid. It helps this deodorant glide easily onto underarms and leaves a non-greasy feel to the product. It is also great for helping to absorb odor!

(1) 2 oz Coconut Oil - 76º Melt
(1) 2 oz Magnesium Stearate
(1) 2 oz MCT - Mid Chain Triglycerides Liquid
(1) 2 oz Arrowroot Powder
(1) 2 oz Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached
(1) 2 oz Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
(1) 2 oz Smooth & Creamy Lotion Bar Additive
(1) 2 fl. oz Agave Nectar Odor Neutralizing FO 426
(1) 1/2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50
(4) 1 Set 01 oz White Push Up Stick & Top Set
(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 1.75 oz. Coconut Oil - 76º Melt
• 0.50 oz. Magnesium Stearate
• 0.40 oz. MCT - Mid Chain Triglycerides Liquid
• 0.40 oz. Arrowroot Powder
• 0.40 oz. Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached
• 0.25 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
• 0.20 oz. Smooth & Creamy Lotion Bar Additive
• 0.05 oz. Agave Nectar Odor Neutralizing FO 426
• 0.05 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Metal Melting Pot
• (1) Wire Whisk
• (1) Stove Top Or Double Boiler

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To metal pot, add beeswax, lotion bar additive, shea butter, coconut oil and MCT. 
  2. Place over desired heat source (stove top or double boiler) and heat on low until all ingredients have completely melted. 
  3. Add magnesium stearate and arrowroot powder. Powders do not easily blend in so continue to blend with wire whisk until incorporated.
  4. Add fragrance and Vitamin E and blend in.
  5. Pour mixture into lotion bar tubes. ( New packaging April 2021) Let completely harden before placing tops on tubes.
  6. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to underarms daily.
