Halloween Boo MP Soap Cupcakes

These cute soap cupcakes will make great favors for your Halloween Party or place them around your table at your fall craft show and you won’t be able to keep them in stock!   The fall scent of Harvest Moonlight adds notes of cinnamon, cardamom and black peppercorn blended with pureed pumpkin and whipped cream. This just may become your sellout fall fragrance this year!

Recipe Ingredients:

• 32 oz. Premium Extra Clear MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 8.15 oz. Premium Ultra White MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 8 oz. Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional
• 1 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 1.50 oz. Myristyl Myristate
• 1.40 oz. Harvest Moonlight Fragrance Oil 973
• 0.70 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer - MP Soap
• 2 Piece(s) Stained Glass Violet Purple Soap Color Blocks
• 1 Piece(s) Stained Glass Citrus Orange Soap Color Blocks
• 1/4 Teaspoon(s) Traditional - Jet Black Glitter

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. Lay silicone soap liners out on cookie sheet.
2. To plastic beaker, add 2 oz. of cut up clear soap. Heat in microwave for 15 seconds or until just melted. Add ¼ tsp. black glitter and stir.
3. Stirring as you pour, fill 12 cavities of the “Boo” Mini Mold. Place in freezer to harden.
4. To plastic beaker add 0.90 oz. fragrance with 0.45 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Mix and let sit for at least 2 minutes.
5. To large measuring cup, add 30 oz. cut up clear soap. Add 2 purple soap cubes cut into pieces. Heat in microwave until melted.
6. Add in fragrance mixture and stir. Fill each cupcake liner to the top with melted soap. Let completely harden.
7. Remove plastic mold from freezer and unmold soap embeds. Set aside for later.
8. To large mixing bowl, add 8 oz. cut up white soap and entire orange color block cut into smaller pieces. Heat in microwave until melted.
9. Add in Foaming Bath Whip and stir gently.
10. To plastic beaker add 0.50 oz. fragrance with 0.25 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer. Mix and let sit for at least 2 minutes.
11. To small measuring cup add glycerin and myristyl myristate. Heat in microwave just until melted.
12. Begin whipping the soap/bath whip mixture until it starts to slightly thicken. Gradually add in the glycerin mixture, continuing to mix while adding. Once it has started to thicken, add in fragrance mixture and continue to whip. If necessary, place bowl in refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to cool and thicken. 
13. Once mixture has thickened enough to hold a shape, add mixture to a piping bag with decorator tip. Pipe frosting onto each cupcake, then insert a “BOO” into the frosting. Frosting will harden overnight.
14. Insert one cupcake into cello bag and tie with coordinating ribbon.
15. Label product accordingly. Be sure to put “DO NOT EAT” on label.

To Use: Apply to wet skin and rinse off with warm water.
NOTE: On 3/28/19, Myristyl Myristate was substituted for the Palm Kernel Flakes.
