About This Recipe:
Winter skin can get dry and flaky. Use this brown sugar scrub to gently exfoliate and get rid of that flaky skin on heels, elbows, etc. Avocado Oil, Olive Oil and Shea Butter moisturize to leave a shiny, smooth skin. The scent of Sweet Potato & Brown Sugar is almost good enough to eat!

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 30 oz. Brown Sugar - Raw Demerara Crystals
• 6.40 oz. Olive Oil - Pomace
• 6.40 oz. Avocado Oil
• 4.50 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
• 1.90 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Traditional
• 1.90 oz. Stearic Acid
• 0.50 oz. Sweet Potato & Brown Sugar FO 748
• 0.25 oz. Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)
• 0.30 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 1/2 Teaspoon(s) Orange Salsa Mica Powder
• 8 Piece(s) 08 oz Clear Heavy Wall Plastic Jar - 89/400
• 8 Piece(s) 89/400 Black Flip Top Cap - No Liner


Equipment From Home:

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves, and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Add Olive Oil, Avocado Oil, Emulsifying Wax and Stearic Acid to large bowl.  Heat in microwave until completely melted
  2. Add Shea Butter and stir until melted. Heat further in microwave, if necessary, to melt butter.
  3. Place bowl into refrigerator for 1 hour.
  4. Scrape sides of bowl and whip until mixture is creamy.
  5. Add vitamin E, preservative and fragrance and blend well.
  6. Slowly add brown sugar while continuing to mix.
  7. Add Orange Mica Powder and stir well.
  8. Fill jars to approximately 6.35 oz. by weight and place lids on jars.
  9. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Massage scrub onto wet skin. Rinse off with warm water.
