About This Recipe:
Winter skin will love this lotion. Skin-loving ingredients of hemp oil and macadamia nut oil will soak into your skin, leaving it soft and smooth, but not greasy. The Charred Sandalwood fragrance will appeal to both men and women.

(2) 2 oz Emulsifying Wax - Soft & Silky
(1) 2 oz Macadamia Nut Oil
(1) 2 fl. oz Charred Sandalwood Fragrance Oil 953
(1) 2 oz Cetyl Alcohol Flakes
(1) 2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50
(1) 2 oz Preservative - Benzoic Acid +2 PF
(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable
(4) 1 Piece Beaker - Natural Polypropylene
(8) 1 Jar 08 oz Clear Tuscany Plastic Jar - 70/400

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 48 oz. Distilled Water (not included in kit)
• 9.60 oz. Hemp Seed Oil - Virgin (Dark Green)
• 2.55 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Soft & Silky
• 1.90 oz. Macadamia Nut Oil
• 1.25 oz. Charred Sandalwood Fragrance Oil 953
• 0.65 oz. Cetyl Alcohol Flakes
• 0.65 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 0.65 oz. Preservative - Benzoic Acid +2 PF


Equipment From Home:
• (2) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (64 oz.)
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Stick Blender
• (1) Thermometer
• (1) Distilled Water

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves, and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To large mixing bowl, add water and set aside.
  2. To second mixing bowl, add hemp oil, macadamia nut oil, emulsifying wax and cetyl alcohol. Heat in microwave until waxes have completely melted.
  3. Heat water in microwave for 1-2 minutes until warm.
  4. Pour water into hot oils/wax mixture and gently stir with spatula.
  5. Using stick blender, blend until mixture starts to thicken.
  6. Add fragrance and vitamin E.
  7. When lotion has cooled to below 176°F, add preservative and continue to blend.
  8. Fill each jar to 8 oz. by weight.
  9. When lotion is cool, place lids on jars.
  10.
