Sparkle Star Bubble Wand

About This Recipe:

Create a tubful of bubbles with this bubble wand. These are packed full of bubbly ingredients such as cocamidopropyl betaine, which is derived from coconut oil. This creates "Hollywood" style bubbles so you'll want to linger extra long in the tub. Simply run the wand back and forth in the bathwater and watch the bubbles grow. Remove and let dry and you'll be ready to use again for your next luxurious bath!

Recipe Ingredients:

• 5.25 oz. Sodium Carbonate - aka Washing Soda
• 3.90 oz. Bubble Cake Hardener
• 2.80 oz. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate Coarse SLSa
• 2.0 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 0.75 oz. Bubble Up
• 0.30 oz. Snow Fairy Fragrance Oil 1041
• 0.15 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer - CP Soap
• 3 .15 ml Scoop Neon Hot Pink Kisses Powder
• 1-2 Tablespoon(s) Eco Friendly - Twinkle Rose Gold Glitter

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Large Mixing Bowl
• (1) Wire Whisk
• (1) Gloves
• (2) Cookie Sheets
• (1) Face Mask
• (1) Child's Paintbrush
• (1) Small Bowl

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace. The powders used in this recipe become airborne easily making a mask important to wear.

1. To large mixing bowl, add sodium carbonate, bubble cake hardener and lathanol. Blend with wire whisk.
2. In plastic beaker, mix fragrance and vanilla color stabilizer. Let sit for two minutes. 
3. Drizzle glycerin, bubble up and fragrance mixture over powders. Mix with gloved hands until well incorporated.
4. Add neon pink mica powder and blend well with hands. 
5. Place molds on cookie sheets. Press mixture firmly into one mold cavity filling half way. Place stick into mold so it is positioned half way into bubble wand. Add more mixture until the cavity is completely filled. Continue in this manner until six stars have been made. Let harden overnight.
6. Carefully remove from molds and set on cookie sheet.
7. In a small bowl, add Rose Gold Glitter. Mix in small amount of rubbing alcohol just until glitter is liquid enough to be painted on. Using a child's paintbrush, brush glitter onto each star. Mix more glitter/alcohol mixture if necessary. Let dry. 
8. Package in cello bags and tie with coordinating ribbon, if desired.
9. Label product accordingly.

To Use: Wave bubble wand back and forth under running water to create bubbles. Let dry between uses. One bubble wand should last for at least two baths.
