Blueberry Bath Whip Recipe

About This Recipe:

Add a large scoop of this luxurious bath whip under running water for a bubble bath or use with a nylon puff as a body soap. This creamy whipped body wash will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.

(1) 1 lb (single jar) Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional

(1) 2 oz Bubble Wash Pearlizer

(1) 2 oz Apricot Kernel Oil

(1) 2 oz Yogurt Powder

(1) 2 fl. oz Fresh Picked Blueberry* FO 309

(1) 1/2 oz Jojoba Beads - Black

(1) 2 oz Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)

(1) 5 ml Stained Glass Ocean Blue Liquid Color

(2) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(3) 1 Jars 08 oz Clear Heavy Wall Plastic Jar - 89/400

(3) 1 Piece 89/400 White Dome Top Cap - F217 Liner

Recipe Ingredients:

• 16 oz. Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional
• 0.50 oz. Bubble Wash Pearlizer
• 0.30 oz. Apricot Kernel Oil
• 1 Tablespoon(s) Yogurt Powder
• 3 ml(s) Fresh Picked Blueberry* FO 309
• 1 Teaspoon(s) Jojoba Beads - Black
• 2.5 ml(s) Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)
• 2-3 Drop(s) Stained Glass Ocean Blue Liquid Color

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Large Glass Bowl
• (1) Hand Mixer
• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Scale - Digital Display

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron.

1. To a large glass mixing bowl, add the Foaming Bath Whip. Using a hand mixer, whip until fluffy.
2. Add Apricot Kernel Oil and Bubble Wash Pearlizer. Gently fold into bath whip.
3. Add Yogurt Powder, Blueberry Fragrance Oil and Preservative**. Blend into bath whip.
4. Mix in Jojoba Beads and Blue Liquid Dye. Whip until all ingredients are incorporated.
5. Fill each jar to 5.5 oz. by weight. Apply lids.
6. Label product accordingly.

To Use: Add to running bath water as a bubble bath or use with a nylon puff to get optimum bubbles. Use dry fingers to scoop product from jar. 
* Original recipe contained blue Jojoba Beads which were discontinued. These have been replaced with Black Jojoba Beads. (6/2020)
**Preservative is added for water that might be introduced to product during use.
