Men's Hair + Beard Conditioner

About This Recipe:

This conditioner is great to use on hair and beard to help keep those stray hairs in place and conditioned. Black castor oil will help to nourishing along with the vitamin B5 in panthenol to make this product a great conditioner for hair and beard. The Bay Leaf & Tobacco fragrance is just the right blend of citrus, cedarwood and oakmoss without being overpowering.

Recipe Ingredients:

• 13.75 oz. Distilled Water
• 0.65 oz. BTMS - 25
• 0.30 oz. Black Castor Oil
• 0.30 oz. Aloe Vera Gel
• 0.15 oz. Quinoa Extract - Water Soluble
• 0.15 oz. DL - Panthenol 100
• 0.30 oz. AMTicide Coconut
• 0.30 oz. Leucidal Liquid SF MAX
• 2 ml(s) Bay Leaf & Tobacco Fragrance Oil 332

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Heat-Safe Pot
• (1) Stove Top or Hot Plate
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Stick Blender
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Mixing Spoon
• (1) Pastry or Food Storage Bag
• (1) Scissors

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. In a heat-safe pan, add the BTMS-25, Black Castor Oil and Panthenol. Heat over low heat until all ingredients are melted.
2. In a microwave-safe measuring cup, add water. Place in microwave and heat for 1-1.5 minutes. Add in Quinoa Extract and stir.
3. Pour water into oil/wax mixture and stir. Using a stick blender, blend until mixture is smooth and well blended. Scrape bottom of pan of any extra wax then stick blend into mixture.
4. Hand stir in the Aloe Vera gel, fragrance and preservative. Stick blend until all ingredients are well incorporated.  
5. Fill bottles to approximately 3.75 oz. each. We recommend using a pastry bag or food storage bag to fill bottles. Fill each bottle then place in large cup or container that will keep bottles from falling over.
6. Let cool completely before applying caps. Product will thicken as it cools.
7. Label product accordingly.

To Use: After shampooing, place a small amount of product into palm of hand. Rub hands together then apply to hair and beard. Rinse hair with warm water.
