Pink Salts Emulsified Scrub

About This Recipe:

This emulsified scrub made with pink sea salts will exfoliate your skin, leaving it smooth and silky. This ready-to-use base contains skin-loving ingredients of olive oil, sunflower oil and shea butter. These help to moisturize while the sea salts will leave your skin thoroughly exfoliated.

(1) 16 oz Emulsified Base for Scrubs

(2) 1 lb Pink Sea Salt - Fine

(1) 2 fl. oz Pink Pomelo & Himalayan Sea Salt* Fragrance Oil 1244

(1) 2 oz Preservative – Phenoxyethanol + CG (Compare to Optiphen)

(7) 1 Jars 04 oz Clear Basic Plastic Jar - 58/400

(7) 1 Piece 58/400 Gold Metal Basic Top Cap - Foam Liner

Recipe Ingredients:

• 9.96 oz. Emulsified Base for Scrubs
• 23.24 oz. Pink Sea Salt - Fine
• 0.30 oz. Pink Pomelo & Himalayan Sea Salt* Fragrance Oil 1244
• 0.25 oz. Preservative – Phenoxyethanol + CG (Compare to Optiphen)

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Mixing Bowl
• (1) Hand Mixer
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Mixing Spoon or Spatula

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.

1. Weigh and add Emulsified Scrub Base to a large mixing bowl. 
2. Using a hand mixer, whip product for 30 seconds. 
3. Gently stir in Pink Sea Salts with spoon or spatula until salts are well incorporated. If the product seems too thin, more salts can be added. 
4. Stir in Fragrance Oil and Preservative until blended.
5. Fill jars with approximately 4.80 oz. product and place lids on jars.
6. Label product accordingly.

To Use: Massage onto wet skin using a circular motion. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.  May need to be stirred slightly before use. Not recommended for use on face.
