Moonlight Glow Foaming Hand Wash Recipe

About This Recipe:

This foaming soap provides a nice, rich, creamy lather that is sure to please everyone. The scent is a deeply romantic fragrance capturing the essence of moonlit strolls in lush gardens.

Shopping List:

(1) 1 Gallon (1 Jug) Premium Foamer Bottle Base

(3) 2 oz FO & EO Modifier

(1) 2 fl. oz Moonlight Path* Fragrance Oil 316

(1) 2 oz Stained Glass Violet Purple Liquid Color

(1) 1 Piece Beaker - Natural Polypropylene

(3) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(16) 1 Bottle 08.5 oz Clear Table Top Bottle - Use 40mm Foamer

(16) 1 Each 40 mm Table Top Foamer Pump Top - BLACK

Recipe Ingredients:

• 134 oz. Premium Foamer Bottle Base
• 5.30 oz. FO & EO Modifier
• 1.25 oz. Moonlight Path* Fragrance Oil 316
• 20 Drop(s) Stained Glass Violet Purple Liquid Color

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (64 oz.)
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Wire Whisk
• (1) Small Measuring Cup (8 oz.)
• (1) Scale - Digital Display

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 67 oz. of the foaming hand wash base.
2. Place in microwave and heat product for about 3 minutes.
3. In glass measuring cup, mix 0.625 oz. fragrance with 3.15 oz. modifier. Let sit for 2 minutes.
4. Add fragrance oil mixture to the warm hand soap. Gently mix. 
5. Add drops of liquid dye until desired color is achieved.
6. Fill eight bottles to 8.60 oz. by weight. If any product remains, divide among the bottles.
7. Repeat above steps to make the remaining half gallon of product.
8. Let product cool completely. Place foamer top onto bottle and screw on tightly.
9. Label product accordingly.

To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse off with warm water.
