About This Recipe:
Everyone will love this creamy goat milk and oatmeal soap.  The spicy pumpkin fragrance is perfect for fall and will be great for both men and women. 


Shopping List:
(1) 2 lb Basic Goat Milk MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
(1) 2 lb Premium Oatmeal MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
(1) 2 fl. oz Spiced Pumpkin Fragrance Oil 776
(1) 2 oz Vanilla Color Stabilizer - MP Soap
(1) 1 Mold Sun and Moon Tray Mold (MW 116)
(1) 1 Piece Beaker - Natural Polypropylene
(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 32 oz. Basic Goat Milk MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 32 oz. Premium Oatmeal MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 2 oz. Spiced Pumpkin Fragrance Oil 776
• 1 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer - MP Soap


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Rubbing Alcohol - 99%
• (1) Soap Cutter
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Thermometer
• (1) Plastic Wrap

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 16 oz. cut up Goat Milk MP Soap. Heat in microwave in 30 sec. bursts until completely melted.
  2. To plastic beaker, add 0.50 oz. Pumpkin Lager FO and 0.25 oz. vanilla stabilizer. Let sit for two minutes. Stir, then mix into melted soap.
  3. Pour soap into mold and allow to cool completely.
  4. To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 16 oz. cut up Oatmeal MP Soap. Heat in microwave in 30 sec. bursts until completely melted.
  5. To plastic beaker, add 0.50 oz. Pumpkin Lager FO and 0.25 oz. vanilla stabilizer. Let sit for two minutes. Stir, then mix into melted soap
  6. Spray first layer generously with alcohol. Once soap has cooled to 125-130°F, pour melted soap into mold and allow to cool completely.
  7. Unmold soap. Cut along scored lines to get 9 bars of soap. Wrap in plastic wrap or other packaging of choice.
  8. Repeat steps to make second set of 9 soaps, if desired. 
  9. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Lather soap onto wet skin and rinse off with warm water.
