About This Recipe:
This recipe uses our Moisturizing Lotion with Evening Primrose base. This lotion has a medium thickness which works well any time of the year. The added Hemp Seed Oil is one of the "driest" oils which means it quickly soaks in without leaving any greasy after-feel. This lotion will also readily accept a small amount of added oils, such as CBD, which can be added up to 1.25% or 0.20 ounces.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 20 oz. Moisturizing Lotion with Evening Primrose
• 0.20 oz. Hemp Seed Oil - Virgin (Dark Green)
• 0.15 oz. Tea Blossom & Hemp - Natural Fragrance Oil (Special Order)
• 6-8 Drop(s) Stained Glass Forest Green Liquid Color


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Spatula or Mixing Spoon
• (1) Piping Bag or Zip Close Bag
• (1) Scissors

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.
  1. Weigh out lotion into a large microwave-safe measuring cup. Heat in microwave for 30 seconds.
  2. Stir in 0.20 oz. Hemp Seed Oil, 0.15 oz. Tea Blossom & Hemp Natural Fragrance and 6-8 drops of Forest Green liquid color. Stir until well blended. If desired, 0.20 oz. CBD Oil can also be added.
  3. Pour lotion into a piping bag or zip close bag. Cut the tip off the end of the bag. If hole is too small, make it a little larger for ease in filling bottles.
  4. Squeeze lotion into all four bottles evenly and apply caps.
  5. Label product accordingly.
To Use:  Massage into skin as desired.
