About This Recipe:
This simple white bar is scented with Vanilla Fig which is a blend of sweet vanilla musk wrapped with ripe fig. This  quick and easy recipe will be a great addition to any product line. 


Shopping List:
(1) 2 lb Basic White MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
(1) 2 fl. oz Vanilla Fig* Fragrance Oil 399
(1) 2 oz Vanilla Color Stabilizer - MP Soap
(1) 1 Mold Oval Basic Silicone Mold 1606


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 20 oz. Basic White MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 0.60 oz. Vanilla Fig* Fragrance Oil 399
• 0.30 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer - MP Soap


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (32 oz.)
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Soap Cutter & Cutting Mat
• (1) Spatula or Mixing Spoon
• (1) Spray Bottle with Rubbing Alcohol

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.
  1. Add 20 oz. of cut up Basic White MP Soap Base to a microwave-safe measuring cup. Heat in microwave until soap has completely melted.   
  2. Mix 0.60 oz. Vanilla Fig Fragrance with 0.30 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer. The fragrance contains 8.6% vanilla so the soap will discolor and darken if this is not used. Let mixture sit for 2 minutes.
  3. Add fragrance mixture to soap and stir well.
  4. Pour soap into all four cavities of soap mold. Spritz the top with rubbing alcohol to break up any air bubbles that may appear. Let harden.
  5. Unmold then wrap all bars in airtight packaging. 
  6. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto skin and rinse with warm water.
