Feel dry skin just disappear with this moisturizing lotion containing cocoa butter and sweet almond oil. The unique Karma* Fragrance Oil is a blend of orange, lavender and pine with notes of patchouli, lemongrass, cashmere and musk. This fragrance will stay with you throughout the day!

(1) 2 oz Emulsifying Wax - Traditional

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 10.50 oz. Distilled Water
• 1.40 oz. Sweet Almond Oil - Refined
• .80 oz. Cocoa Butter - Deodorized & Ultra White
• .90 oz. Emulsifying Wax - Traditional
• .35 oz. Stearic Acid
• 0.28 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 0.28 oz. Karma - EO & FO Blend 654
• .07 oz. Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (32 oz.)
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (16 oz.)

• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Thermometer - Digital
• (1) Stick Blender or Hand Mixer
• (1) Spatula or Mixing Spoon
• (1) Distilled Water

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.
  1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Stearic Acid and Emulsifyng Wax. Heat in microwave until completely melted or about 170°F.
  2. Add distilled water to a second microwave-safe measuring cup. Heat in microwave to about 170°F. 
  3. Pour water into melted oils/wax and stir. 
  4. Using a stick blender or a hand mixer, briefly mix to incorporate ingredients. 
  5. Mixture will be thin so we suggest either setting bowl aside to thicken or place in refrigerator or freezer until lotion cools to about 110°F.  
  6. Briefly mix thickened lotion. Add Glycerin, Fragrance and Preservative and blend until fully incorporated.
  7. Fill each jar to approximately 2 oz. and apply lids.
  8. Lotion will thicken a bit more once completely cooled.
  9. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to dry skin as needed.
