Pink Grapefruit Face Cleanser

About This Recipe:

Refresh and rejuvenate with this pink grapefruit face cleanser. Gentle enough to use daily, the fresh scent of grapefruit will awaken your senses. It contains Cocamidopropyl Betaine which is a mild surfactant derived from Coconut Oil. This adds moisturizing properties and also more luxurious lather.

(2) 16 oz Liquid Suspension Soap Base

(1) 2 oz Bubble Wash Thickener (Compare to Crothix)

(1) 2 oz Sodium Lactate 60%

(1) 1/2 oz Silk Amino Acids Liquid

(1) 2 fl. oz Grapefruit (Pink) EO - Certified 100% Pure 141

(5) 1 Bottle 04 oz Clear Boston Round Plastic Bottle - 20/410

(5) 1 Piece 20/410 White Ribbed Basic Top Cap - F217 Liner

Recipe Ingredients:

• 27 oz. Liquid Suspension Soap Base
• 0.50 oz. Bubble Wash Thickener (Compare to Crothix)
• 0.15 oz. Sodium Lactate 60%
• 0.15 oz. Silk Amino Acids Liquid
• 5 ml(s) Grapefruit (Pink) EO - Certified 100% Pure 141

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup (32 oz.)
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Mixing Spoon
• (1) Spatula

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.

1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 27 oz. Liquid Suspension Soap Base. 
2. Heat in microwave for 30 seconds.
3. Stir in Bubble Wash Thickener, Sodium Lactate, Silk Amino Acids and Grapefruit Essential Oil. Gently mix until well incorporated.
4. Fill each bottle to approximately 4.3 oz. each.
5. Let product cool completely then place cap on bottle.
6. Label product accordingly.

To Use: Lather face cleanser onto skin and rinse with warm water. 

NOTE: We recommend using an SPF product if going outdoors after using this face cleanser. Grapefruit Essential Oil has phototoxic properties and may make skin more susceptible to sunburn.
