Face Mask Fabric Refresher Spray

About This Recipe:

Tea Tree is thought to be an odor eliminator and have antibacterial qualities.  We have included it in this kit to help refresh your cloth face mask during the day, between washes.  The handy pocket size spray bottle fits easily in a pocker or a purse.

Shopping List:

(1) 2 oz Rose Water Essential Hydrosol

(1) 2 oz Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)

(1) 2 oz Polysorbate 20

(1) 2 fl. oz Tea Tree EO - Certified 100% Pure 136

(1) 2 fl. oz Pink Grapefruit Fragrance Oil 97

(2) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(10) 1 Set 0.27 oz (8 ml) Frosted Plastic Bottle, Sprayer, Cap Top

Recipe Ingredients:

• 2 oz. Rose Water Essential Hydrosol
• .01 oz. Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)
• .05 oz. Polysorbate 20
• .5 ml(s) Tea Tree EO - Certified 100% Pure 136
• 1 ml(s) Pink Grapefruit Fragrance Oil 97

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Small Measuring Cup
• (1) Spoon or Spatula
• (1) Beaker

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.

1. Combine rose water hydrosol and the preservative in measuring cup.
2. Combine polysorbate 20, Tea Tree Essential Oil and fragrance oil in plastic beaker and mix. Add to hydrosol mixture and mix well. Let mixture sit for 10 minutes to solubilize completely.
3. Fill each bottle to 0.30 oz. by weight. (For easier filling, use plastic beaker to fill.) 
4. Twist on tops. 
5. Label accordingly. 

To Use: Spritz the outside of the face mask and let dry for a couple of minutes.

Fragrance may separate from the hydrosol, shake well before using.
