Men's Shower Gel and Lotion

This shower gel and lotion set, scented with Crafters Choice White Patchouli is a winner.  Head to Toe Lotion contains Sunflower Oil and Allontoin, a skin softener and anti irritant.  Great for everyday use.  Makes a great gift set. This recipe makes 2 sets of shower gel and lotion.

(1) 16 oz Head to Toe Lotion

(1) 2 fl. oz White Patchouli Fragrance Oil 1128

(1) 2 oz Polysorbate 20

(4) 1 Bottle 08 oz Amber Boston Round Plastic Bottle - 24/410

(4) 1 Piece 24/410 Black Smooth Flip Top Cap

Recipe Ingredients:

• 16 oz. Shower Gel - Crystal Clear
• 16 oz. Head to Toe Lotion
• .80 oz. White Patchouli Fragrance Oil 1128
• .45 oz. Polysorbate 20

Equipment From Home:

• (2) Microwave Safe Measuring Cup
• (2) Spoon or Spatula
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Small Bowl

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. FOR SOAP: To a microwave safe measuring cup, empty entire contents of Shower Gel. Place in microwave and heat for 40 seconds. Gently stir.
2. In a small bowl combine .45 ounces of fragrance and .45 ounces of polysorbate 20.
3. Add fragrance mixture to shower gel and gently stir. 
4. Pour shower gel into two of the 8 oz. bottles. Fill to the shoulder of each bottle, then divide the remaining product between the two bottles.  
5. Apply disc cap. Set aside until product has cooled completely before placing on bottles.  
6. Label product accordingly.

To Use: Pump liquid soap into wet hands and rub together. Rinse with warm water.

1. FOR LOTION: Empty contents of 16 oz. jar of Head to Toe Lotion into a microwave safe cantainer.  Heat in microwave for 40 seconds or until lotion has thinned. Remove and stir. 
2. Add .35 ounces of fragrance oil and mix well.
3. Fill remaining two bottles with lotion. Tip: hold funnel pitcher above the bottle opening and let gently pour into bottle. If lotion is too thick to pour, add lotion to a piping bag or plastic food bag. Cut off tip and fill bottles.
4. Apply cap, let product cool completely before placing tops on bottles.
5. Label product accordingly.

To Use: Massage into skin as needed.
