Lemon Rose Hand Salve Kit

About This Recipe:

This all-natural, non-petroleum salve can be used on chapped lip, dry heels or rough elbows.   
The salve has a slight Lemon Rose Natural scent and contains lanolin butter, beeswax, coconut & grape seed oil.  This recipe makes 16 eco friendly jars

(2) 2 oz Coconut Oil - 76º Melt

(1) 2 oz Olive Oil - Refined A

(1) 2 oz Grape Seed Oil

(1) 2 oz Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached

(1) 2 oz Lanolin Butter

(1) 1/2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50

(1) 2 fl. oz Sweet Lemon Rose - Natural Fragrance Oil (SO)

(1) 1 oz EZ Color - True Red

(1) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic

(16) 1 Set 0.5 oz White Paperboard Jar & Lid Set

Recipe Ingredients:

• 3.00 oz. Coconut Oil - 76º Melt
• 1.55 oz. Olive Oil - Refined A
• 1.25 oz. Grape Seed Oil
• 1.10 oz. Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached
• .85 oz. Lanolin Butter
• .2 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50
• 3 ml(s) Sweet Lemon Rose - Natural Fragrance Oil (SO)
• 2 Drop(s) EZ Color - True Red

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Microwave
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Spoon or Spatula

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment.

1. In a microwave safe measuring cup, add Beeswax, Grape Seed Oil, and Olive Oil.
2. Heat in the microwave, in 30 second intervals for about 1.5 minutes or until beeswax is melted.
3. Add Coconut Oil and Lanolin, stir until incorporated.
4. Measure in Fragrance and Vitamin E. Stir.
5. Add 1-2 drops Ez Color True Red
6. Pour .5 ounces into each paperboard jar. Let harden
7. Cap and label accordingly.

To Use: Rub into skin where needed.  If using a lip safe essential oil or natural fragrance oil this product is also lip safe. We do not reccomend a flavor oil.
