About This Recipe:
Our Chamomile & Lavender EO FO Blend is over 99% essential oils. Clear you head and your mind with these shower steamers. Just a splash of water will saturate the shower with soothing lavender chamomile scent.  


Shopping List:
(1) 1 lb Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
(1) 1 lb Citric Acid Powder
(1) 2 oz White Kaolin Clay
(1) 2 fl. oz Chamomile & Lavender - EO & FO Blend 584
(1) 1/2 oz Lavender Water Essential Hydrosol
(1) 2 oz Lavender Buds - Premium Botanical
(2) 1 Mold Lavender Guest Rectangle Soap Mold (MW 33)
(4) 1 Piece Kraft Window Tin Tie Bag - 1/2 Pound (Medium)


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 12 oz. Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
• 6 oz. Citric Acid Powder
• 2 oz. White Kaolin Clay
• .4 oz. Chamomile & Lavender - EO & FO Blend 584
• .35 oz. Lavender Water Essential Hydrosol
• 2 Teaspoon(s) Lavender Buds - Premium Botanical


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Large Mixing Bowl (64oz)
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Wire Whisk
• (1) Sieve
• (1) Small Bowl
• (1) Pestle

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Add baking soda, citric acid and kaolin clay to bowl. Using a wire whisk, stir dry ingredients breaking up any clumps.
  2. Sprinkle lavender buds in the cavity of each mold.
  3. Drizzle Chamomile & Lavender EO & FO Blend onto powders and mix.
  4. Drizzle lavender hydrosol and immediately stir. (Mixture should hold together when squeezed.)
  5. Place plastic molds onto jelly roll pans. Pack each cavity tightly with the bath fizzy mixture. 
  6. Let molds sit for at least 24 hours to dry. Carefully pop out of mold.
  7. Package as desired and label accordingly.
To Use: Place shower steamer out of direct spray of the showerhead.  Spray with water to release the scent.
