About This Recipe:
This classic project makes our favorite sugar scrub. The combination of foaming bath whip, soap and sugar make the perfect texture for a scrub. We love the balance of creamy soap and sugar to create this gentle exfoliant! Customers will love the strawberry fragrance.  Add a cute strawberry soap to the top. This will make a great addition to your spring line, couple it with a strawberry lotion for a great set.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 14 oz. Premium Extra Clear MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 16 oz. Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional
• 35 oz. Sugar - White Granulated Sugar
• 1 oz. Sun Ripened Strawberry Fragrance Oil 421
• 1 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 5 Drop(s) EZ Color - True Red
• 1 Teaspoon(s) Jojoba Beads - Black


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Cutting Board
• (1) Soap Cutter
• (1) Microwave Safe Measuring Cup (64 oz)

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Add 10 ounces of cut-up Extra Clear Soap to measuring cup. Heat soap in microwave in 30 second intervals until fully melted.
  2. Pour soap into stand mixer bowl. Add Glycerin and mix with stand mixer on low.
  3. Stop mixer and add Foaming Bath Whip. mix on low.
  4. Turn speed to high for 1-2 minutes. (Mixture will become creamy and look like marshmallow cream.)
  5. Turn speed to low-medium and slowly add white sugar and 1-2 teaspoons of black jojoba beads.
  6. Add liquid color and fragrance oil. When fully blended, stop mixer.
  7. Fill each jar to 7.50 oz. by weight and apply lids.
  8. Melt 4.5 ounces of clear soap in a microwave safe container.  Add 3 mls of fragrance and 1 drop of ez color. 
  9. Pour into 8 cavities of the strawberry mold.  Let sit until solid.
  10. Place on the top of the scrub and cap.
  11. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Massage gently onto wet skin. Rinse off with warm water.
