Celebrate the moon with this Moonflower scented lotion bar.  A luscious bouquet of star jasmine, gardenia petals and meadow lily mingle with nuances of white nectarine, ruby grapefruit, Italian mandarin and fresh greens in this enchanting blend. The adorable Man in the Moon mold is the perfect addition to any lotion bar line. Package in the ecofriendly paperboard container.  


Shopping List:
(2) 2 oz Tucuma Butter
(2) 2 oz Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
(2) 2 oz Babassu Oil
(2) 2 oz Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached
(1) 1/2 oz Vitamin E Natural T-50
(1) 2 fl. oz Moonflower Fragrance Oil 899
(2) 1 Mold Moon Face Soap Mold (MW 433)
(6) 1 Set 03 oz Black Paperboard Jar & Lid Set


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 3 oz. Tucuma Butter
• 3 oz. Shea Butter - Ultra Refined
• 3 oz. Babassu Oil
• 3 oz. Beeswax - Ultra Refined & Bleached
• .1 oz. Vitamin E Natural T-50
• .5 oz. Moonflower Fragrance Oil 899


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Double Boiler
• (1) Stove Top or Hot Plate
• (1) Spoon or Spatula
• (1) Cookie Sheet

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. To double boiler or metal pot add tucuma butter and beeswax. Heat on low until melted.
  2. Turn off heat and add shea butter. Let melt naturally. If necessary, place on low heat until butter is melted.
  3. To measuring cup, add babassu oil, Vitamin E and fragrance oil.
  4. Pour oils into wax mixture. If it solidifies when combined, place on low heat to remelt.
  5. Place molds onto a cookie sheet.
  6. When temperature is 150°F or cooler, pour 2 ounces into plastic molds (If cavities are filled to the top, the lotion bars will not fit in the 3 oz. paperboard jars.)
  7. Move molds to freezer for about 20 minutes. 
  8. Remove lotion bars from mold and place into paperboard jars. Place lids on jars.
  9. Label product accordingly.
To Use: Rub into dry skin.
