This shampoo bar combines our Moraccan Argan Melt and Pour Soap with hair loving ingredients like DL-Panthenol  and Horsetail Butter.  Notes of ocean salty mist, sapphire blue tidal pools, sea grass and amber sand combine for the ultimate fresh ozonic fragrance. The massage bar mold provides a relaxing scalp massage. Packaged with our silicine soap dish for a great gift.

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 24 oz. Detergent Free Moroccan Argan MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• .4 oz. DL - Panthenol 100
• .8 oz. Horsetail Butter Blend
• .5 oz. Jojoba Oil - Golden
• 1 oz. Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate Coarse SLSa
• .8 oz. Blue Mist Fragrance Oil 534


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Soap Cutter
• (1) Cutting Mat
• (1) Large Measuring Cup (32oz)
• (1) Small Glass Bowl
• (1) Cookie Sheet
• (1) Spoon or Spatula

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.  
  1. To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 12 oz. of cut up soap base. Heat in microwave until completely melted
  2. In a small bowl, measure .4 oz. horsetail butter and .25 oz.jojoba oil, melt in the microwave.  Add in .2 oz panthenol  and .5 oz of lathanol. Stir in until disolved.  Set to the side.
  3. Add 0.4 oz. fragrance oil and mix into melted soap.   
  4. Add oil mixture to melted soap.  Stir well.
  5. Pour into the cavities of the plastic mold. Spritz top of soaps with rubbing alcohol to release any air bubbles. Let set for about 30 minutes then place in refrigerator to completely harden.  
  6. When soap has completely hardened, remove from fridge. Carefully turn molds over and press on each cavity to remove the soap. Set soaps aside on a table or cookie sheet.
  7. Repeat above steps to make the remaining 3 soaps. 
  8. To package: place soap on silicone soap dish, slip product into 6 x6 polyolefin bag.  Turn over and tape bag.  Using a heat gun, starting on the back run the gun around  the side to shrink the bag.  Turn over and move the gun around to tighten up the top.
  9. Label accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin and rinse off with warm water.
