Main Squeeze Foaming Sugar Scrub Recipe

Fragranced in our delicious Lemon Drop Cookies fragrance oil, this foaming sugar scrub is a sweet treat. Everyone will enjoy this gently exfoliating scrub topped with cute, mini lemon soaps. This kit makes a great gift for friends, family, or yourself this Valentine’s Day!

Shopping List:

(1) 1 lb (single jar) Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional

(1) 2 lb Premium Crystal Clear MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray

(2) 1 lb Sugar - White Granulated Sugar

(1) 2 fl. oz Lemon Drop Cookies Fragrance Oil 280

(1) 2 oz Glycerin - Natural

(1) 2 oz Vanilla Color Stabilizer - MP Soap

(1) 5 ml Stained Glass Lemon Yellow Liquid Color

(1) 1 Mold Citrus Small Round Soap Mold (MW 154)

(4) 1 Jars 08 oz Clear Basic Plastic Jar - 70/400

(4) 1 Piece 70/400 Silver Metal Basic Top Cap - Foam Liner

Recipe Ingredients:

• 8.15 oz. Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional
• 7 oz. Premium Crystal Clear MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 17.8 oz. Sugar - White Granulated Sugar
• 0.6 oz. Lemon Drop Cookies Fragrance Oil 280
• 0.5 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 0.35 oz. Vanilla Color Stabilizer - MP Soap
• 13-18 Drop(s) Stained Glass Lemon Yellow Liquid Color

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Microwave
• (1) Large Mixing Bowl
• (1) Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer
• (2) Spoon or Spatula
• (1) Alcohol in Spray Bottle

Directions:

Ensure your workspace is clean and organized. Read through instructions before starting. Premeasure all ingredients.
Lemon Soap Bar:

1.  Add 2 oz of cut up Premium Extra Clear Melt & Pour Soap Base to a microwave safe container. Microwave in 10 second increments until soap is fully melted.                                                                           
2. In a small dish, mix 0.6 Lemon Drop Cookies Fragrance Oil with 0.35 oz Vanilla Color Stabilizer.                                                                          
3. Add 1 ml of Fragrance/Stabilizer mixture to melted soap and stir to combine.                                                                              
4. Add 3 drops Stained Glass Lemon Yellow Liquid Color and mix.                                                                              
5. Spritz 4 cavities of the Small Citrus Soap Mold with rubbing alcohol.                                                                                  
6. Fill the 4 cavities halfway with the yellow soap. Set aside to harden and cool completely.

Sugar Scrub:

1. Add 5 oz of cut up Premium Extra Clear Melt & Pour Soap Base to a microwave safe container. Microwave in 30 second increments until soap is fully melted.   
2. Pour melted soap into a large mixing bowl or stand mixer.           
3. Add 0.5 oz Glycerin and mix on low.           
4. Add 8.15 oz Foaming Bath Whip and mix on low.         
5. Mix on high for 1-2 minutes until mixture is creamy and resembles marshmallow fluff.   
6. Mix on low-medium and slowly add 17.8 oz White Granulated Sugar.
7. Add remaining Fragrance/Stabilizer mixture to bowl and mix on low.                     
8. Remove about half the mixture and place into a separate bowl. Set aside.
9. To remaining mixture, add 10-15 drops Stained Glass Lemon Yellow Liquid Color. Mix on low until color is fully incorporated (1-2 minutes).    
10.  Fill jars, alternating scoops of white and yellow.     
11.  Remove lemon soaps from plastic mold. If they don't pop out, place into the freezer for 5 minutes, then gently squeeze the sides of the cavity before pushing out.   
12.  Gently place one soap on top of the scrub in each jar.
13.  Apply lids and label. Enjoy!
