Love U Berry Much Melt & Pour Soap Recipe

About This Recipe:

Nothing says “I love you” quite like a handmade Valentine’s Day gift! This beautifully layered melt & pour soap is made with Crafter’s Choice Premium Shea Butter soap base, which is formulated with real, moisturizing shea butter. We’ve fragranced it in our Love U Berry Much fragrance oil, which is a sweet blend of ripe berries, sweet citrus, and sliced apple.

(1) 2 lb Premium Shea Butter MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray

(1) 2 lb Premium Crystal Clear MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray

(1) 2 oz Glycerin - Natural

(1) 2 fl. oz Love U Berry Much Fragrance Oil 1061

(1) 2.5 gm Bag Plumberry Pink Mica Powder

(1) 2.5 gm Bag Traditional - Iridescent Super Sparkle Glitter

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

(1) 1 Mold Regular Loaf Silicone Mold 1501

(1) 1 Set Powder Spray Set - 14 ml (Fine Mist)

(1) 1 Piece Wavy Soap Cutter

(1) 1 Piece Scoop - 0.15 ml (Micro Size)

(2) 1 Piece Beaker - Natural Polypropylene

(1) 2 Piece Gloves Nitrile (Large)

(8) 1 Box Soap Box - Rectangle Window (WHITE COLOR)

Recipe Ingredients:

• 30 oz. Premium Shea Butter MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 10 oz. Premium Crystal Clear MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 0.75 oz. Glycerin - Natural
• 0.40 oz. Love U Berry Much Fragrance Oil 1061
• 7 .15 ml Scoop Plumberry Pink Mica Powder
• 1  Traditional - Iridescent Super Sparkle Glitter

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Microwave
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Spray Bottle with Rubbing Alcohol - 99%
• (2) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup

Directions:

TO CREATE FIRST PINK LAYER:

1. Microwave the Premium Extra Clear Melt & Pour Soap Base in 30 second increments until melted.
2. Add 4 microscoops Plumberry Pink Mica Powder to first Glycerin container. Mix well, breaking up any clumps.
3. Add 0.1 oz Love U Berry Much Fragrance Oil to melted soap and mix well.
4. Add premixed color to melted soap and mix well.
5. Gently pour melted soap into mold. Spritz top with rubbing alcohol to pop any bubbles.
6. Let soap cool and harden for 45 minutes - 1 hour

TO CREATE SECOND LAYER:

1. Ensure the first layer is completely hardened.
2. Microwave 10 oz Premium Shea Butter Soap Base in 30 second increments until melted.
3. Add 3 microscoops Plumberry Pink Mica Powder to second Glycerin container. Mix well.
4. Add 0.1 oz Love U Bery Much Fragrance Oil to melted soap and mix well.
5. Add premixed color to melted soap and mix well.
6. Spritz first layer with rubbing alcohol. This helps the layers stick together.
7. Gently pour melted soap into mold, and spritz top with rubbing alcohol.
8. Let soap cool and harden for 45 minutes - 1 hour

TO CREATE THIRD LAYER:

1. Ensure the second layer is completely hardened.
2. Rotate the Loaf Mold 180° to prop opposite side against the cookie sheet.
3. Microwave 10 oz Premium Shea Butter Soap Base in 30 second increments until melted.
4. Add 1 microscoop Plumberry Pink Mica Powder to third Glycerin container. Mix well.
5. Add 0.1 oz Love U Bery Much Fragrance Oil to melted soap and mix well.
6. Add premixed color to melted soap and mix well.
7. Spritz second layer with rubbing alcohol.
8. Gently pour melted soap into mold, and spritz top with rubbing alcohol.
9. Let soap cool and harden for 45 minutes - 1 hour

TO CREATE FINAL LAYER:

1. Ensure the third layer is completely hardened.
2. Place the loaf mold flat on the cookie sheet.
3. Microwave 10 oz Premium Shea Butter Soap Base in 30 second increments until melted.
4. Add 0.1 oz Love U Bery Much Fragrance Oil to melted soap and mix well.
5. Spritz third layer with rubbing alcohol.
6. Gently pour melted soap into mold, and spritz top with rubbing alcohol.
7. Fill Powder Spray Set with Traditional Iridescent Super Sparkle Glitter.
8. Gently spray the top of the soap with glitter.
9. Let soap cool and harden for 45 minutes - 1 hour

TO REMOVE LOAF:

1. Once the soap is completely hardened, gently pull the sides of the loaf mold away from the soap.
2. Gently turn soap upsidown and push loaf out of the mold.
3. Once the soap is removed, using the wavy soap cutter, cut the loaf into even bars.
4. Place bars into soap boxes.
5. Label and enjoy!
