About This Recipe:
Taste the icing on the cake with this delicious vanilla icing lip balm. Create 24 lip balms using our Natural Lip Balm Base.


Shopping List:
(1) 8 oz Natural Lip Balm or Body Butter Base
(1) 1 oz Vanilla Icing - Unsweetened Flavor Oil (Special)
(1) 1 oz Lip-Smacking Sweetener Oil
(3) 1 Piece Droppers (Pipettes) - Plastic
(2) 12 Piece 0.15 oz White Lip Tube Only - Round
(2) 12 Piece Lip Tube Cap: White


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 4.5 oz. Natural Lip Balm or Body Butter Base
• 2 ml(s) Vanilla Icing - Unsweetened Flavor Oil (Special)
• 2 ml(s) Lip-Smacking Sweetener Oil


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Microwave
• (1) Microwave-Safe Measuring Cup
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Scale

Directions:
NOTE:  If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves, and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Into a plastic beaker or pitcher, add 4.5 oz Natural Lip Balm Base. Heat in microwave until product has completely melted.   
  2. To melted base, add 2 ml of flavor oil and 2 ml of sweetener oil. Stir to blend.
  3. Pour product at approximately 120ºF or less into lip balm sticks. If product has started to harden, place the cup back into the microwave to liquify.  
  4. Let lip balm completely harden before applying caps. If any sink holes appear after cooling, reheat any leftover lip balm and fill in the top. A heat gun can also be used to warm the tops until they become liquid, and they will reharden to give a smooth finished look 
  5. Apply caps and label product accordingly.
To Use: Apply to lips as needed.
