Pastel Pink Skull Candle Recipe

Shopping List:

(1) 10 lb Ky 133 Versatile Paraffin Wax Blend

(1) 2 fl. oz Haunt Mess Fragrance Oil 465

(1) 1 oz Red Premium Liquid Colorant - Candle

(1) 2.5 gm Bag Super Sparkle White Diamonds Mica Powder

(1) 100 Piece 51-32-18 Cotton Core Wick

(1) 1 Each Skull Mold - Silicone

(1) 1 Piece Candle Wick Bar

(1) 1 Each Hairnets - 24 inch Disposable

Recipe Ingredients:

• 9.6 oz. Ky 133 Versatile Paraffin Wax Blend
• 0.96 oz. Haunt Mess Fragrance Oil 465
• 1 Drop(s) Red Premium Liquid Colorant - Candle
•  Super Sparkle White Diamonds Mica Powder

Equipment From Home:

• (1) Candle Thermometer
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Double Boiler
• (1) Mixing Spoon
• (1) Candle Pouring Pot for Candle Making

Directions:

NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.

1. Before beginning, poke a hole in the bottom of your mold.  We used a metal skewer to do this.
2. Thread a wick through the hole of your mold. 
3. Weigh out 9.6 oz of the KY 133 Candle Wax. 
4. Using a double boiler, melt the wax to 180F. Stir occasionally as the wax is melting. 
5. Add .96 oz of the Haunt Mess Fragrance Oil and 1 drop Raspberry Liquid Candle Dye.  Stir. 
6. Pour the wax into your mold.   
7. Center the wick, secure it with a wick bar, and allow the candle to set up. 
8. Remove the candle from the mold. 
9. Dust the outside of the candle with the White Diamonds Super Sparkle Mica. 
10. Allow to cure before burning.
