(1) 1 Piece Candle Wick Bar


Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 8.5 oz. Ky 133 Versatile Paraffin Wax Blend
• 0.75 oz. Raise the Vibes Fragrance Oil 795
•  Hunter Green Candle Dye Flakes
•  Blue Liquid Candle Dye
•  Golden Yellow Premium Liquid Colorant - Candle
•  Guilty Pleasure Pink Premium Liquid Colorant - Candle


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Candle Making Thermometer
• (1) Pouring Pot
• (1) Double Boiler
• (1) Stove Top
• (1) Mixing Spoons
• (1) Paint Brush

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace. 
  1. Before beginning, poke a hole in the bottom of your mold.  We used a metal skewer to do this. 
  2. Thread a wick through the hole of your mold. 
  3. Weigh out 7.5 oz of the KY 133 Candle Wax.  Add it to the pouring pot along with a couple of flakes of the hunter green candle dye flakes. 
  4. Using a double boiler, melt the wax to 180F. Stir occasionally as the wax is melting. 
  5. Add .75 oz of the fragrance oil.  Stir. 
  6. Pour the wax into your mold.   
  7. Center the wick, secure it with a wick bar, and allow the candle to set up. 
  8. Remove the wick tab and then the candle from the mold. 
  9. Prepare your colors.  Use a double boiler to melt about 1 oz of your KY 133 Candle Wax.  Add the color of your choice.  Stir. 
  10. Use a paint brush to paint ornaments on your tree. 
  11. Repeat steps 9-10 using additional colors.  We created pink, blue, and yellow wax to paint ours
  12. Allow candle to set up and label accordingly.
