About This Recipe:
Wake up your skin with this wonderfully beneficial and fragrant scrub. Coffee grounds and brown sugar offer gentle exfoliation while the Sweet Almond, Olive and Vitamin E oils soften and moisturize the skin.

(1) 2 lb Basic Clear MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
(1) 1 lb Brown Sugar - Raw Demerara Crystals
(1) 2 oz Olive Oil - Extra Virgin
(1) 1 lb Sweet Almond Oil - Refined
(1) 2 oz Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)
(1) 2 fl. oz Hazelnut Cappuccino Fragrance Oil 164

Recipe Ingredients:
Measure ingredients with a scale or precise measuring tool.

• 5-10 Tablespoon(s) Fresh Dry Coffee Grounds (not included in kit)
• 16 oz. Foaming Bath Whip - Traditional
• 5 oz. Basic Clear MP Soap Base - 2 lb Tray
• 13.5 oz. Brown Sugar - Raw Demerara Crystals
• 1.60 oz. Olive Oil - Extra Virgin
• 2.0 oz. Sweet Almond Oil - Refined
• 0.16 oz. Preservative - Water Soluble PF (Compare to Germall Plus)
• .60 oz. Hazelnut Cappuccino Fragrance Oil 164


Equipment From Home:
• (1) Large Mixing Bowl
• (1) Stand Mixer
• (1) Measuring Spoons
• (1) Spatula
• (1) Scale - Digital Display
• (1) Fresh Dry Coffee Grounds

Directions:
NOTE:  If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace. 
  1. Weight 5 oz. of Crafter's Choice Basic Clear MP Soap Base and place in microwave safe bowl. Heat in microwave until soap has completely melted.
  2. Weigh 16 oz. of Crafter's Choice Foaming Bath Whip and add to glass bowl with melted Basic Clear MP Soap Base.
  3. Place bowl in stand mixer and blend on medium speed until fluffy.
  4. Add Brown Sugar, mixing after each cup.
  5. Add Olive Oil and Sweet Almond Oil. Mix well.
  6. Blend in 5 Tablespoons of fresh dry coffee grounds (up to 10 tablespoons can be added, if desired). 
  7. Add preservative and Fragrance Oil.  Mix ingredients well.
  8. Place a large zip lock baggy in a bowl and pour scrub into the bag.  Snip off a corner of the bag and fill malibu bottles. Apply cap.

To Use: Apply scrub to wet skin and gently massage. Rinse with warm water.
