Directions:
  1. In a mixing bowl, weigh out 294 grams distilled water.  Slowly add 144 grams of the Sodium Hydroxide. Stir in between each addition. Once added continue to stir until the mixture is clear. Set aside, for now.
  2. In a clean mixing bowl, weigh out and melt 210 grams Shea Butter, 158 grams Coconut Oil (76 degree), 158 Canola Oil, 158 grams Sunflower Oil, 158 grams Sweet Almond Oil, 105 grams Avocado Oil, 105 grams Palm Oil Flakes
  3. Allow both the lye solution mixture and melted oils to come to room temperature.
  4. While you are waiting, prepare your colors. You will need 3 small bowls. In the first bowl, add 2 grams of the Plumberry Pink Mica. Mix with a small amount oil. To the second bowl, add 2 grams of Gray’s 50 Shades. Mix with a small amount of oil.  Finally, to the third bowl, add 3 grams of the Titanium Dioxide and mix with a small amount of oil. By mixing the powders with oil, it will help the colorants blend better with your soap batter and prevent clumping.
  5. Once both your soaping oils and lye mix have come to room temperature, emulsify them using a stick blender.
  6. Add 50 grams Champagne Kisses Fragrance Oil. Blend.
  7. Separate the soap batter into 3 equal portions.
  8. Once the soap batter reaches trace, begin pouring into the soap mold. Alternate the colors until you have filled the mold. Keep a very small amount of each color for the top of the soap.
  9. Pour lines of each color on the very top of the mold. Use a popsicle stick to swirl the soap on top until you are happy with the swirls.
  10. Tap the soap gently on your countertop to help release any air bubbles. Spray the top with alcohol.
  11. After 24-48 hours, remove the soap from the mold. Cut the soap in 1” slices and allow it to cure for 4-6 weeks before using.
