Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment. - Cut 22 oz. Extra Clear soap base into chunks. Set aside.
- Cut 12 oz. Ultra White soap base into chunks. Set aside.
- Cut 6 oz. Extra Clear soap base into chunks. Set aside.
- In a small beaker, add 1 oz. Water Lotus & Jasmine FO and set aside.
- Place the 22 oz. bowl of Extra Clear soap into the microwave and heat until soap has completely melted.
- Once melted, let soap cool to 130-140F. Once cooled to this range, add the Sexy Pink Slippers color block in small amounts, stirring frequently. Add more color until you reach your desired shade. If needed, you can place soap back into microwave for very short bursts to keep the soap in the 130-140F temperature range.
- Place the 12 oz. Ultra White soap base into the microwave and heat until soap has completely melted. Set aside.
- Place the 6 oz. Extra Clear soap base into the microwave and heat until soap has completely melted. Add Shimmering White Clouds Mica Powder and blend well.
- Divide the fragrance oil among the three cups of melted soap and mix well.
- When the soap temperature of the Sexy Pink Slippers soap and the white soap have cooled to below 130F, they are ready to be poured.
- With a measuring cup in each hand, begin to pour both soaps into the mold together. As the soaps blend together, they will create a swirl affect.
- Complete the swirl by adding the Shimmering White Clouds soap. Holding the measuring cup slightly higher above the mold, pour the soap into the mold in a zigzag pattern. If skin has formed on the pink/white soap, break through the skin with a spoon or spatula so the color can drop down into the soap.
- Once poured, swirl the soap using a wooden skewer.
- When finished, spritz the top with alcohol.
- For soap top, cut 6 oz. Ultra White soap base into chunks. Place into the microwave and heat until soap has completely melted. Set aside for at least 1 hour to begin to harden.
- When ready to top, using a hand mixer whip the melted soap until it thickens and foams (about 3-5 minutes).
- Spritz the top of your soap loaf with alcohol, and pour your whipped soap over the top of the loaf mold. Use the back of a spoon to create soft peaks in the whipped soap topping.
- If desired, top with about 1 teaspoon more Shimmering White Clouds Mica Powder over the top of the loaf.
- Let soap completely set up – about 2-3 hours. If needed, place in refrigerator to harden faster.
- Carefully remove from mold. Using a mitre box, if available, cut into 1” slides.
- Wrap in airtight packaging and label accordingly.
