Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace. - Securely latch together the sides for both the large Star Column Mold and the mini Star Column Mold. Place the mitre box upright on a cookie sheet and lean mini mold against box for support.Stand large column mold on cookie sheet also.
- To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 5 oz. of clear cut up soap. Heat in microwave in 30 second increments until melted.
- Add 0.15 oz. blue soap color block and 5 ml Black Cherry fragrance oil and stir well.
- When soap has cooled to 130°F, fill the mini star column mold and fill the large star mold halfway. Let completely harden. Set aside remaining soap for later.
- Remove stars from molds. Cut the mini star column in half and set aside.
- Latch together the mini column mold. Reheat remaining blue soap and fill mold. Let harden. Remove from mold and cut soap column in half. Set aside with other stars.
- To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add 3 oz. of clear cut up soap. Heat in microwave in 30 second increments until melted. Add 2 micro scoops of red powder and 2.5 ml fragrance and stir.
- Pour into loaf mold and let harden.
- To microwave-safe measuring cup, add 3 oz. of white cut up soap. Heat in microwave in 30 second increments until melted. Add 2.5 ml fragrance oil and stir well.
- Spritz red soap generously with rubbing alcohol. When soap has cooled to 130°F, pour white soap into mold. Let harden.
- Repeat Steps 7-8 for next red layer. Let soap cool to temperature of 130°F. Spritz top of white soap with rubbing alcohol then pour soap into loaf. Spritz again and let harden.
- Repeat Steps 9-10 for next white layer. Let soap cool to temperature of 130°F. Spritz top of
red soap with rubbing alcohol then pour soap into loaf. Take one of the mini star columns and spritz well. Place star into white layer, positioning where desired. Let harden. - Repeat Steps 7-8 for red layer. When soap has cooled, spritz soap in mold and then pour soap
over the top. Spritz the large star on all sides and place into the red layer. Spritz a mini star and also place into this layer where desired. - Repeat Steps 9-10 for final layer. Spritz soap in mold and then pour a thin layer into mold. Spritz a mini star column then place into desired area of this layer. Spritz all soap, again, then finish pouring remaining soap. Spritz and set aside to harden.
- Remove soap from mold and cut into 1 inch slices.
- Wrap tightly with plastic wrap.
- Label product accordingly.
To Use: Gently massage onto wet skin. Rinse off with warm water.
