This soap looks like it was difficult to make but is actually very easy. This is a great soap for selling at craft shows because the clamshells make for a stylish and easy packaging idea. Just put the back on, label and you are ready to sell.
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
Cut White Soap into 0.5” cubes and place in mixing bowl.
Place clamshells on jelly roll pans for stability.
To large measuring cup, add cut up Clear Soap and Santa Red Color. Heat in microwave for 2-3 minutes or until melted.
Add fragrance oil to melted soap and mix thoroughly.
Pour the soap into the clamshells filling them ½ full.
Thoroughly spritz the bowl of white soap cubes with rubbing alcohol.
Place cubes of soap into the clamshells. Add enough cubes until the cavities are filled. Spritz with rubbing alcohol.
Let soap completely harden then place backs on clamshells.
Label accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin. Rinse off with warm water.
