This soap is similar to a very popular men's soap line. We have used our Premium Oatmeal Base to match the color and added kaolin clay and black sea salt for light exfoliants. Essential oils of Cedarwood and Sweet Orange help to give this soap a warm woodsy scent with a pop of bright citrus.

Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron, workspace and sanitized equipment. - Remove entire 2 lb. of soap from plastic tray and cut soap up into smaller chunks. Place in large microwave-safe measuring cup and heat until all soap has completely melted.
- To a small bowl add White Kaolin Clay and enough melted soap to completely wet the clay. Mix well until powder is well blended and looks like paste.
- Slowly add this to the larger melted soap and mix well with wire whisk until blended.
- Once soap has cooled to around 135°F, add both essential oils and Black Sea Salt. Stir.
- Soap will need to cool to around 125°F in order for sea salt to suspend properly. Continue to mix soap every 5 minutes. A skin will form over the soap a few times and this can just be stirred back into the soap.
- When soap has reached correct temperature, give a quick stir and fill 5 of the mold cavities with soap. If soap gets too hard, briefly heat in microwave for a few seconds and continue to pour. Spritz top of soap with rubbing alcohol to release any air bubbles. Quickly place mold in freezer to cool soap and prevent the salts from settling. Soap can be removed after 15-30 minutes.
- If soaps are bumpy and uneven on the bottom, heat them briefly with a hair dryer or heat gun before unmolding. This will melt the soap and smooth it out. Once soap has hardened again, remove soaps from mold.
- Package in airtight packaging of choice.
- Label product accordingly.
