This emulsified sugar scrub recipe uses high-end ingredients for a lemony fresh scrub. Non-comedogenic oils and butters are used in the recipe and it's scented with lemon essential oil. The finished scrub stays thick and does not separate.

To metal pot, add sweet almond oil, shea butter, camelina oil, stearic acid, and emulsifying wax and heat on hot plate or stovetop until the butter begins to melt.
Remove from heat and stir until all ingredients are liquid.
Mix with hand mixer for five minutes. Allow liquids to cool to 122ºF. (Place in refrigerator for faster cooling.)
Add fragrance, preservative, ROE and yellow mica to liquids. Whip with hand mixer and allow product to cool to 80ºF.
Pour into large bowl and slowly add sifted sugar. Mix with hand mixer.
Fill jars each with 7.60 oz. by weight. Twist on tops.
