This recipe has been designed to make 18 guest size bars of soap, perfect for cleansing acne prone skin! The oatmeal acts as a gentle exfoliant. For best results, use in the morning and at night.
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
Add cut up Shea Butter Soap to measuring cup. Heat in microwave until melted.
Place Oatmeal into a food processor. Chop for about 15-20 seconds.
Pour 4 oz. of melted soap into a small measuring cup. Add Bentonite Clay and whisk until blended. (Mixture will be very thick.) Add back to large batch of melted soap.
Add Fragrance Oil and Oatmeal to melted soap and stir well.
Fill each cavity with soap, stirring between each pour. Spritz with rubbing alcohol. Allow to harden completely.
Remove from mold. Package two bars in cello bag and tie with raffia.
Label accordingly.
To Use: Lather onto wet skin. Rinse off with warm water.
