Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace. - Latch sides and bottom of pumpkin mold together. Place two large rubber bands around the mold to help prevent bowing.
- To funnel pitcher, add 14 oz. of cut up Goat Milk Soap. Heat in microwave until soap has melted.
- In plastic beaker, mix 0.30 oz. Fragrance Oil and 0.15 oz. Stabilizer. Allow to sit for 2 minutes. Add fragrance mixture to melted soap and mix.
- Fill pumpkin mold to the top with melted soap and spritz top with rubbing alcohol.
- To remaining melted soap, add Green Color and stir until incorporated. Place briefly in microwave if color block does not melt completely.
- Pour green soap into the round soap cup and spritz the top with rubbing alcohol. Allow to harden completely.
- Remove green soap and pumpkin soap from molds. Peel the green soap using a vegetable peeler to make curls. Trim the excess soap from the pumpkin column (if needed).
- To a large measuring cup, add cut up Clear Soap and 1 oz. of Goat Milk Soap. Heat in microwave until melted.
- In plastic beaker, mix 0.80 oz. Fragrance Oil and 0.40 oz. of Stabilizer. Allow to sit for 2 minutes. Add fragrance mixture to soap and mix.
- Add Orange Color and stir until incorporated. Cover soap with plastic wrap and set aside.
- When the orange soap is 125º-130°F place a layer of soap curls in the bottom of loaf mold. Generously spritz the curls with rubbing alcohol and pour some of the orange soap, covering only about ¾ of the curls. Allow this layer to harden. (This will keep the curls from floating to the top of the loaf.)
- Arrange the remaining curls and pumpkin on top. Spritz the pumpkin and curls with rubbing alcohol and then pour orange soap covering only about ¾ of the curls and allow to harden.
- If needed, reheat remaining orange soap. Spritz soap in mold with rubbing alcohol and then pour remaining orange soap (at 125º-130°F) filling to the top of the mold. Spritz with rubbing alcohol. Set aside and allow to harden completely.
- Remove from mold and slice loaf into 8 slices. Wrap with plastic wrap.
- Label product accordingly.
