Cocamidopropyl Betaine: It is mainly as surfactants in cosmetic and personal care products. Surfactants help to clean skin and hair by helping water to mix with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed away.
Sorbic Acid: This occurs naturally as para-sorbic acid in berries of the mountain ash tree, Sorbus aucuparia, Rosaceae. It can also be synthesized by various processes. It has a broad spectrum of fungistatic activity but is less active against bacteria. It is commonly combined with Sodium Benzoate for use as a preservative.
