The lip tubes have a finish on them that keeps the labels from sticking. You may need to use a hot glue gun or glue stick to help them stick to your tubes.

I found a work-around. After applying the label paper (sticky labels) and pushing them down tight, I would use clear Scotch tape to wrap over part of the barrel then over the label and continue around being sure to overlap the Scotch tape so it would stick to itself. So far it's working great but a real tedious fix (each tube takes two rows of tape). They do look good with a bit of gloss on the label. Cris
