"Best switch yet!" COMMENTS:  We have used the round tubes since we started and debated the ovals many times. We finally made the switch in hopes that this would solve our filling tray issue and we are so happy we did! "Perfect for Balms & Roll-Up Salves!" COMMENTS:  I love these for Lip Balms and they are also awesome for Salves! The filling trays make them easy to fill 48 at a time; or a well manuvered pipette can fill them individually as well!! I have used these to make some roll-up Oil Infused Salves, they have a bit more beeswax than my Salves in the tins so they can actually stand up to being rolled up; and they are perfect!!! The other thing I like is that you can see what color is going on in the tube from the outside, which makes it so much easier to label and recognize when sending them out. Great product! "Over all thumbs up!" COMMENTS:  I used these to make travel sized lotion bars to keep in winter coats. It wasn't too hard to fill without a tray because it is oval, it was the perfect size for what I was making, they are aesthetically pleasing. The only down side was that if you dripped down the side it was difficult to clean off the bottom and around the rotating bit. Aside from that the lid stayed put and it's easy to push the product up and it looks nice. "Customer fave!" COMMENTS:  so it's one of our faves - thought we'd try them instead of round and they worked beautifully. Thinking we might change to the ovals instead of round. Used them for lip balm and solid perfume w/ no problems. A tiny spout/lip on a small pouring cub worked best for me to pour the balm/perfume into the containers. I stood the containers in the round silicone lip balm base made specifically to hold up the balm containers while adding the liquid balm. It just took a little tweaking and a little heat to melt out the holes at the top of the balm/solid perfume and ta-da! perfect little balms/perfumes. Customers were drawn to them and bought us out the first day. I used small plain address labels and they fit great. Have fun! "Very popular" COMMENTS:  I personally chose these as I liked the shape. However, as soon as I made them and was labeling them my husband spied them. "A must have for me" COMMENTS:  Very nicely made. I've had no leakage with these at all. I use them with the filling stand (highley recommend this in conjunction with these tubes). "I, too, Love these Tubes!" COMMENTS:  I've used probably a thousand or more of these so far and love the fact that they're comfortably oval(not as bulky as round tubes), clear so you can see just how much balm is left and the price. The only drawback is the difficulty getting labels to stick. I've tried around 2 dozen labels in various shapes and label stock. The foolproof trick is to slap a piece of shiny scotch tape over the label seam and it won't come off! An added step, I know, but worth it. "Love these tubes!" COMMENTS:  I loved using these tubes. Not only is the natural coloring versatile, the larger size makes them easy to fill, and the oval shape makes the balm easy to apply to the lips. I also purchased the slimline tubes, which I thought that I'd prefer. After filling some of each, using them myself, and testing them with my clients, the ovals win. "People love these" COMMENTS:  These are great little tubes that look different and seem more luxe than the standard round tube. They were easy to fill, go about two thirds, give them a little tap to settle the wax into all the nooks and crannies, and then fill to the top. I was able to perfect a little bubble on the top for a smooth presentation. There is plenty of room inside the cap for a bubble and when you're dealing in fractions of ounces, I feel like I want to give the customer some bang for their buck and fill it as full as I can. I found a great recipe for a peppermint lip balm that has a nice gloss thanks to almond oil, I added a little blue mica and my family had gone crazy for them. "Various Uses" COMMENTS:  I used this for a few different things! I made a solid perfume, lip balm, and a solid-ish sugar scrub for your lips... "Love the oval shape - doesn't roll off the counter" COMMENTS:  I love this lip balm tube for its unique shape. It doesn't roll off counters and fits well in pockets or purses. I've used it for salves and solid perfumes too. The oval shape makes it easier to pour by hand (as opposed to the round tubes). "Great Tubes" COMMENTS:  These tubes are great quality. I bought some of the same tubes from a different company and the stick in the center of the tube was not straight and very flimsy. These are quite the opposite. The sticks in the center of the tubes are all straight and sturdy. The plastic is very good quality. Not flimsy or cheap feeling at all. Staff Answer Ann, if the product is poured too hot, it can leak under the dial making it difficult to turn up. You can also do a quick check on each tube before pouring to make sure they work properly. Just one turn is enough then turn it back down.
