"Great container for lotion bars" |

COMMENTS: We have used these containers for Shea butter lotion bars for several years now. While the oils, Shea butter and bees wax are still
in liquid form, we pour them directly into the container. When they harden up, we shake the container a few times and the lotion bar comes out. After using the lotion bar it goes back into the container. We will keep buying these. They hold about 2.5 to 2.75 oz with a little extra space at the top.

COMMENTS: I ordered these 3 oz jars to use to hold shaving soap. I put HP soap fresh from the crock pot into these without any issues from putting hot product in them. I love the natural frosty color and the fact that it is low profile. Considering these come with the lid, they are a very cost effective way to package a variety of products. I will order more and use them for body butters next.

COMMENTS: I absolutely love these for lotion bars. They can be filled directly or you can use a guest size circular milky way mold for a cute design and place the bar inside. I'm going to start using these for body butters and whipped butters as well. I love that these are natural looking and not fully see through. Much cheaper than using metal tins and I love that the lids are included. Please never get rid of these!

But:
- lighter weight plastic will bend a bit. One container got pretty smooshed in storage. It straightened out but then I noticed that if you squeeze a bit, the jar goes out of round and makes it hard to get the lid on.
- the side view of the jar looks a bit Petri-dish-y.
Bottom line:
It just comes down to your needs. If lighter weight, can bend a bit, looks laboratory- ready works for you, I heartily recommend these cute jars!

COMMENTS: I am so pleased that I purchased these containers. My business focus is on travel size personal care products. Yesterday I made a foot balm that called for 4, 4oz jars. This size is far too big for travel. I prepared the recipe and poured the mixture into nine of the containers. This allowed me to extend the recipe from four jars to nine. The round label I use looks better and more professional. The best part is that I will be able to offer the product to my traveling customers.

COMMENTS: I love these little jars. They are great for small sized body butters and I like to use for my scrubs as well however, the scrubs always leak. I purchased the 71mm lids but those do not work well with these jars so I will try the press and seal lids. I hope those work better.

COMMENTS: These are a nice little addition to how I can offer my products to my friends and customers. They are very cute when "dressed up." I put some crafting tape around the sides. And then I put a band of craft tape around the side of the lid. I put a 2.5 inch label on top and on the bottom and they look great! They are a great size for travel or to throw in your purse/bag, etc. Unfortunately I can only get 2.5 ounces of product in them. I thought it must be my imagination today as I was scooping in my whipped butter, but it was filled to the top. So, I went back to read the other reviews and saw that I was not the only one who had this problem. The company who manufactures them really should market them correctly. And the lid is a bit shaky, but if you twist it very tight, it does seem to feel secure. So, I'm hoping that it will stay on when tossed in a purse. I think it will, but you just need to make sure it really is tightly closed. Nice to have the lid included with the jar! I think I will be finding many ways to use this one.

COMMENTS: These are great for herbal salves. Would be excellent for lotion bars. Easy to fill, very sturdy and good for take it with you in purses etc. Plastic is heavy and thick quality. Have bought more than once.

COMMENTS: It is hard to find this size of plastic container. I was looking for something in about a 3 ounce size with a low profile. This is spot on and the lid is included. I would not recommend using this jar for liquids or products that could leak. For my lotion bars, it is perfect in diameter and shows off the design of the lotion bar nicely. I'll probably find other uses as time goes on but for now, color me happy.
