Since the things I put in the jars are primarily used in a wet environment, having the ribbed caps makes it easier to open. Also nice to have the liner. COMMENTS: I really like the 'lip' on the edge. My label fits nicely inside it. I like the ridges on the outside. It give a little better grip when trying to open the lid. I make some hand salve for a client who has arthritis, and the extra grip works nicely for her.

COMMENTS: These can be used on multiple sized jars but I chose this lid for my 2 ounce jar. The ribs help give a better grip for this smaller jar. The lid fits nice and tight and looks very nice. I had to adjust my label a little but it all worked out fine. This was a great way to finish off the product.
