Our Artisan's Perfume Base was formulated especially for crafters. This dynamic base allows you to create many high quality perfume blends and not worry about HAZMAT shipping & fees or an ATF license. Create eau de toilette (15%-18%), eau de parfum (19%-22%), and perfume (23%-28%) with this base using up to a maximum fragrance load of 30%. This base is ready to use and does not require any additional ingredients other than fragrance and/or essential oils.
Product cannot be shipped by any methods other than UPS Ground and cannot ship outside the continental USA.
This base works well with most FO's and some EO's. Some Essential Oils may naturally contain moisture and occasional clouding may occur due to insolubility.
Shipping note: Due to ORM-D regulations, this product cannot be packaged in quantities higher than 32 oz.; limit of 66 pounds per shipping box.

This product conforms to the reporting requirements of California Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986). We are conforming to the regulation by reporting the existence, or lack thereof, of ingredients deemed reportable by the above mentioned regulations via a Safety Data Sheet (SDS), in Section 15 "Regulatory Information." Ingredients from Natural Food Sources (NFS) and are exempt from reporting in accordance with Title 27, § 25501(a). |

International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI):
Alcohol 39C, DEP, Benzyl Salicylate.
Directions:
Create eau de toilette (15%-18%), eau de parfum (19%-22%), and perfume (23%-28%) with this base using up to a maximum fragrance load of 30%.When crafting perfumes with this product, please allow time for the alcohol note to macerate (soften and waste away) - this may take anywhere from 1-3 days. Industry standard for commercial perfumes is 30 days. You can use this base at 5% in your vegetable oil based perfumes to add a cooling effect and aid in evaporation.
Perfumer's note: Natural waxes contained in FO's and EO's can solidify in this base if the product becomes too cold. Prevent and eliminate this problem by cooling and filtering prior to end use and/or sale.

"Very low odor" |

COMMENTS: It mixes great with the correct amount of FO. There is no strong alcohol odor and as soon as I added my FO it was ready to use! i sprayed it on myself and all i could smell was the FO I added NO alcohol. I recommend you use a good quality FO. Very impressive. I definitely will be buying a larger bottle.

"Great Base" |

COMMENTS: This is a great base to make spray perfumes. If your FO is pooling on the bottom, then you've added way too much. Make sure to look at the IFRA on your FO and the most you can use for perfume is 30% FO for this base. Less is more in this case. Yes, you will smell alcohol that's why you need to let it sit for a few days. If you take the cap off after macerating, you 'may' still smell a little but once sprayed the alcohol dissipates. The more you let this base and FO mingle the better. Perfumers know you have to let it macerate. Again, this is a great base for perfumes

"Don’t recommend " |

COMMENTS: This is the worst base I’ve ever worked with. The oils separate instantly and sit at the bottom of the bottle. It’s also cloudy. I can’t use it at all

"Alcohol smell is way too strong" |

COMMENTS: I definitely do not recommend this base. The alcohol smell is entirely too strong to where I can’t even smell the fragrance oil I add to it, even a higher load than what it should be! I made the mistake of getting 2 bottles of this because it’s a bigger size and cheaper than the Crafters Choice one. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. The Crafters Choice option is much better with literally no smell at all.

"Horrible!" |

COMMENTS: I used this to make a perfume and used only any amount of oil suggested. It’s been over 6 months and it still has a horrible alcohol smell to it when I spray it. Will never purchase again.

It is so amazing! It does not leave an alcoholic scent behind and so far all of the fragrance oils I’ve tried with this seem to work well and stay perfectly clear! I love the price as well! Do not change the price pls

"Amazing Base" |

COMMENTS: I bought this base to add a new product to my Christmas 2023 collection. I love that I didn't need to let the alcohol macerate before packaging & selling my product. I made a small test batch and tried it on myself and OMG! It dried down fast and the fragrance at 20% load was delicious. The parfum lasted so long and I couldn't believe I didn't think of making this sooner.

"If you want a good perfume base this is it " |

COMMENTS: The best base for perfume I ever purchased. I have wasted so much money on other bases for me perfume and this one was a hit. It doesn’t overwhelm your fragrance like other base. As soon as I recieved it I I made a perfume and then spray on my arm, I waited a like 1min and oh my world my perfume smelled amazing with no alcohol scent. I will only use this base from now on. Thank you

COMMENTS: I love this perfume base.Over the years I have tried several different ones.I love that this base mixes well and easy with my fragrance oils.It mixes immediately and it doesn't get cloudy with the fragrance oils I'm using.Ive used other bases that separate.I just used a base last night that separated with the fragrance oil I used.I didn't like it.Sooo I tried this base next and Whalaaa?? perfection on the first try.I doesn't have a alcohol smell at all.Im in love.There isn't anything I don't like about this.I wish it was sold in half gallon to gallons sizes.Its ok I will just by more of the sizes available.Thanks for such a great product.Ive tried to make my own base but its not better than this one.

"Best Perfume on the market" |

COMMENTS: It's so easy to use. It takes fragrance oil and Essential oil well. No cloudiness. No shaking before use. Just let your oil macerate and enjoy your creation. You'll feel like an artisan perfumer with this base. No alcohol smell either.

"Simply the best on the market!" |

COMMENTS: Over the years I've tried them all and this is the best there is on the market! You actually don't smell any alcohol and takes scents amazingly well. I'm replacing my entire line of body sprays with this. Incorporates f/o's perfectly and I love not having to add preservatives...dries instantly! You might as well order a big bottle because you're going to LOVE this professional base!
