Points of Interest:
Manufacturer: Milky Way Molds
Material: Clear PVC (Not Approved for Food Contact)
Country of Origin: United States
Milky Way Soap Molds can tolerate temperatures of 135-145 degrees F. Above these temperatures, warping may occur. Soap is easiest to release 12-24 hours after cooling.
Wash molds in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some CP soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"Arabesque Soap Mold w/M&P base" |
COMMENTS: This is the hard plastic mold.
I love the design but these molds are a little hard to get unmolded
but overall I do like how the soaps came out.
It is the perfect size bar of soap & I like the oval shape easy to hold.
Just need to take your time unmolding these.
Wish it would let me add photos

"Great mold, lots of detail" |
COMMENTS: I have been using this mold style for over 10 years now (original molds just now starting to break) and it has become my go to design for molded soaps. Classic design and it makes a medium sized bath bar that appeals to all.

"Love this unique design" |
COMMENTS: I first saw this mold used to make some soap, by a friend. She recommended this website, for a variety of different molds. I use my molds for making wax melts/tarts. This mold is the perfect size, shape, depth for me to make my melts, and hide a surprise inside them. I love the cute design, and my customers do too!

"Beautiful Mold!" |
COMMENTS: This mold really brings it! It's gorgeous with mica swirled in. The only problem you may have is that the results are so pretty, people may not use it!
A little tricky to unmold, so I put it in the freezer for a bit, then they pop right out with gentle twisting.

"Milky Way Arabesque Mold" |
COMMENTS: This makes a great soap- easy to unmold after popping in the freezer for 20 minutes when firm! The soap design is unique with the swirls, not too feminine for a guy to use so it can be universally a soap design for everyone.

"Love!" |
COMMENTS: This mold is just so so pretty! I love the look of the bar it puts out and the bars pop out easy enough. Plus, this makes for a nice size bar to be able to grip. I don't make soap bars to sell but at least I have something nice just in case they are requested.
